Skoda Auto has finally unveiled the long-anticipated sportier version of the Elroq SUV, which made its global debut six months ago and had its first appearance in India at the 2025 Auto Expo. Called the Elroq RS, the new version boasts a more dynamic design and enhanced performance, aligning perfectly with its sporty moniker. Currently, there’s no official word on whether the standard Elroq or the RS variant will make its way to India. However, we expect Skoda to introduce the Elroq in the near future, with an estimated price tag of around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). If this turns out to be true, the sportier RS variant could also make its way here. In the meantime, let’s take a closer look at the key specifications of the Skoda Elroq RS. Skoda Elroq RS: Design
Like its RS counterparts in the Skoda lineup, the sportier Elroq stands out with distinctive design elements. The electric SUV comes in the iconic RS Mamba Green, alongside a variety of other colour options. While the sculpted bumpers feature a striking reflective strip running across the entire rear width of the car, the black exterior details familiar to the RS family adorn the window trims, roof rails, exterior mirror caps, and Skoda lettering on the bonnet and boot lid.

The interior of the Elroq RS maintains the same layout as the standard model but with several sporty enhancements. It features sports seats upholstered in black, complete with contrasting line stitching and RS badging on the steering wheel, adding a performance-focused touch. The driver's seat is fully adjustable, offering both a massage function and electric lumbar support for added comfort. The cabin’s technology is expected to remain largely consistent with the standard version.
Skoda Elroq RS: Powertrain
The Elroq RS is powered by an 84kWh battery pack, driving two electric motors—one on each axle—for a combined output of nearly 335bhp. The electric SUV accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180km/h. It has a WLTP-certified range of 550 kilometres.
