Skoda Elroq RS Officially Teased Ahead of Global Debut on April 3
The Skoda Elroq RS is set to make its first public appearance at Milan Design Week 2025, scheduled to take place from April 8 to 13.

Skoda has officially teased the high-performance Elroq RS, building anticipation ahead of its global debut on April 3. The Elroq RS, an all-electric SUV, is expected to bring Skoda’s signature RS performance enhancements, blending sporty design with cutting-edge technology. Positioned as a sportier variant of the upcoming Elroq, it is set to feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, delivering impressive power and agility. The teaser shows the SUV’s sleek silhouette, bold RS badging, and dynamic styling cues. As Skoda expands its global electric lineup, the Elroq RS is poised to rival performance-oriented EVs in the compact SUV segment. More details, including specifications and features, will be revealed at the unveiling event.
Skoda Elroq RS: Appearance

The newly released teaser video provides a glimpse of the Elroq RS’s more aggressive and performance-focused design, featuring key aesthetic upgrades over the standard version. The front bumper has been restyled to deliver a sportier, more assertive look, while the rear bumper has also been revised, enhancing its dynamic appeal. To reinforce its performance-oriented identity, Skoda has given the RS variant blacked-out badging on the tailgate. Additionally, the car also sports alloy wheels, designed specifically for this high-performance offering.

The Elroq RS integrates the company's Tech-Deck Face, a modernised, high-gloss black interpretation of the brand’s signature grille. The Elroq RS will also be available in Mamba Green, a distinctive paint job unique to Skoda’s RS performance series.
Skoda Elroq RS: Battery Options

While Skoda has yet to reveal detailed specifications for the RS variant, the Elroq 85 currently leads the model range. It comes equipped with an 82kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted electric motor, producing 282bhp of maximum power and 545Nm of peak torque. This allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.6 seconds, while achieving an estimated WLTP range of 581 km.
Skoda Elroq RS: Interior Details
The Elroq RS’s interior is expected to incorporate dual-tone customised upholstery and exclusive trim details, possibly accompanied by enhancements to the infotainment system. The teaser reveals a uniquely branded RS section on the lower part of the steering wheel and sporty front seats with integrated headrests, embossed with the ‘RS’ emblem.

The brand is evaluating the possibility of rolling out its first EV by September this year. However, it has not provided any confirmation regarding the potential arrival of the Elroq RS in our home market. While both the Enyaq and Elroq have made appearances at Auto Expo, only the Enyaq has been observed undergoing road tests within the country.
