Built on the Rolls-Royce 3.0 platform, the Spectre emphasises electrification and connected technology and is seen as a spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupé. Thanks to innovative engineering and aluminum parts, the platform, which is currently in its third iteration, has a 30 per cent stiffer structure than earlier Rolls-Royce cars. Low seating positions and an enveloping interior are made possible by the flexible construction, which also makes it possible for a smoother underfloor profile.

Rolls-Royce Spectre: Powertrain

The model has a battery pack and two electric motors. The front unit produces 255bhp of maximum power and 365Nm of peak torque in addition to the 483bhp and 710Nm of torque generated by the rear motor. As a result, the combined total output of this opulent vehicle is 900Nm and 575bhp. Additionally, it takes the car just 4.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h. The brand claims that the 102kWh lithium-ion battery that powers the Spectre is created entirely of green electricity. The car can be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 34 minutes using a 195 kW DC fast charger. The Spectre EV claims a WLTP-certified driving range of 520-kilometre.

Rolls-Royce Spectre: Styling Details

When it comes to styling, the Rolls-Royce Spectre has split headlamps and the largest Rolls-Royce grille ever—the Pantheon grille. With a drag coefficient of less than 0.25cd, the EV is also Rolls-Royce's most aerodynamic model to date. The grille, which has 22 meticulously lit LEDs, adds to this impressive performance. Furthermore, the tail lamps are housed in the biggest single-body panel ever constructed for a Rolls-Royce, which runs from the A-pillar to the luggage compartment. The vertical tail lamps resemble jewels and are colourless. Moreover, the Spectre is the first two-door coupe in production to feature 23-inch wheels in nearly a century.
