After having a successful debut in Mumbai, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II was launched in New Delhi recently.

Reaffirming the fact that India is one of the key markets it’s been eyeing to tap seriously, Rolls-Royce launched its Ghost Series II in New Delhi. After having a grand launch in Mumbai in November, it was time the capital city also got a taste of the highest word in luxury.

Launched in 2009 for the first time, the Ghost became synonymous with the ‘ultimate symbol of success’ with buyers ranging from different domains. India’s finest chose this car over any other car in order to reflect what they had achieved.

Commenting on the launch of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, Sven Ritter, General Manager – Asia-Pacific, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars said, “Ghost has always been a leading choice for our customers in India, as a definitive symbol of success and for its unparalleled luxury. Ghost Series II will give them an ownership experience that will be even more rewarding. India is a key market for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars; we are the only ultra luxury automotive marque to have five dealerships across this country.  With India’s increasing growth in ultra high net worth individuals and our extensive dealership network in place, we feel in a strong position in the long-term.”

The Ghost Series II overpowers the older version in many ways. Some of the key changes include a new front face, redesigned headlights, new and wider bumpers and a new bonnet that adds to the Series II’s dynamism. The interiors too have been recrafted to provide more luxury and class to the customers.

Empowering the car is the same V-12 engine that delivers a staggering 563bhp of maximum power at 5,250rpm and 780Nm of optimum torque at 1,500 rpm. The top speed has been restricted to 250kmph.
