Priced between Rs 8.47 lakh and Rs 8.12 lakh, deliveries of the BS6 Phase II-compliant Renault Kiger and Triber AMT have now begun across the country. Prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Under the 'Human First' programme, the Renault Kiger AMT and the Triber AMT come well-equipped with advanced safety features, such as an electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start assist (HSA), traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Launched this year, the Human First initiative aims to improve the safety of drivers, passengers, and other road users worldwide. It is a product of collaboration between engineers, product managers, safety experts, the Laboratory of Accidentology, Biomechanics and Human Behaviour (LAB), and first-aiders. Interested buyers can make their bookings at authorised Renault dealerships present across 29 states.

Benefits of the Human First programme are also extended to the entire model line-up, which has been upgraded with new and enhanced safety features. According to Renault, this programme is designed to minimise the risk of accidents and improve overall safety for occupants and pedestrians alike.
Renault Kiger: Powertrain, Features
Together with the abovementioned advanced features, the Kiger SUV also gets four airbags and seatbelts with a pre-tensioner and load-limiter. Safety-wise, the Kiger has scored a 4-star safety rating for adult occupant protection under Global NCAP's test protocol.
Powering the SUV is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.0-litre energy petrol engine. On offer are an XTronic CVT as well as a 5-speed easy-R AMT transmission. In terms of mileage, the Kiger returns a fuel efficiency of 20.62 km/l.
Renault Triber: Powertrain, Features
Sharing safety features with the Kiger, the Triber also boasts of a 4-star safety rating for adult occupant protection by the Global NCAP. At its heart is a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder motor that makes 71bhp and 96Nm. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed easy-R AMT. The Triber is claimed to feature the largest boot space of 625 litres in its class.
Renault India launched the Kiger in 2021 and the Triber in 2019. Both are made-in-India models, manufactured for Indian buyers first before being made internationally available.
