The Kwid is priced between Rs 2.66 lakh - 4.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Renault India has announced a new warranty plan for the Kwid hatchback, which covers 4 years or up to 100,000km (whichever is earlier) along with Road side assistance. This includes standard warranty of 2 year/50,000km and extended warranty of 2 year/50,000km.
Furthermore, Renault India has also introduced a new offering on its Renault Secure program (Extended Vehicle Warranty and Road side Assistance). Customers can now extend the warranty coverage upto 5 Years or 100,000km (whichever is earlier) along with Road side assistance on all Renault India cars including Captur, Kwid, Duster, and Lodgy at a nominal cost.
The Kwid has been a true game changer and volume driver for Renault India, selling more than 2.2 lakh vehicles since the start of sales. The Kwid range comprising of the 0.8-litre, 1.0-litre MT and 1.0-litre AMT variants. The car is also offered in a quasi-rugged Climber avatar.
The Kwid competes with the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Hyundai Eon and its own mechanical cousin, the Datsun Redigo. The Kwid has made quite a market for itself as it, undoubtedly, is the most unique looking offering in the A-segment. Additionally, Renault has made the car even more lucrative by offering first-in-class touchscreen infotainment system on its top variant.
