The Dacia Bigster has made its global debut. First introduced as a concept in 2021, it is expected to launch in India as the Renault Duster, addressing the rising demand for spacious SUVs. The Bigster and Duster will share lot of components, including body panels, dashboard, seats, and other mechanical parts. While the official engine options are yet to be confirmed, it's likely to feature the same 1.2-litre and 1.6-litre turbo petrol engines, providing a balance of performance and efficiency. Its design, features, and versatility are expected to appeal strongly to Indian families seeking comfort, space, and capability.
Renault Bigster: Exterior
The Dacia Bigster combines a sleek design with a strong off-road presence. Its front resembles the Dacia Duster, with sharp LED headlights featuring Y-shaped accents. Unlike the Duster, the Bigster removes the lower grille's plastic cladding for a cleaner look. Fog lights are integrated into the bumper, and a silver skid plate adds to its rugged feel.

From the side, the Bigster stands out with up to 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, hexagonal wheel arches, and black body cladding. Turn indicators are built into the side mirrors, and the rear door handles are positioned on the C-pillar. Silver roof rails and an optional black roof add style and versatility. At the rear, V-shaped LED tail lights, "Dacia" lettering, a carbon-fibre strip, and a sturdy rear bumper with a lighter skid plate complete the bold design.
Renault Bigster: Interior and Features
The Dacia Bigster offers a modern, eco-friendly interior with a sleek grey and black dual-tone design. Its layout, similar to the Duster, features a 10.1-inch driver-focused touchscreen and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Comfort and convenience are enhanced with a premium sound system, panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control.
The driver's seat is electrically adjustable with manual lumbar support, and the centre armrest includes cooled storage, charging options, and rear AC vents. The second-row bench seat has a 40:20:40 split for flexibility, with adjustable headrests for all seats. The middle seat can also fold down to serve as an armrest with cup holders.
