Renault-owned Dacia’s Duster SUV has been given a facelift. Just a few days from now, the facelift Duster will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motorshow. Renault launched the Duster in India in July 2012 and since then, the company has raked in sales which crossed the 55000 mark.

It also won the ICOTY award for 2012 and Renault has most definitely had their share of success with the car. But competition is fierce and with the arrival of EcoSport and later in the year, the Terrano, Renault will certainly have a strategy in place and a facelift version may just be on the cards.

In the facelift version of the Duster, we can see that it gets a redesigned grille, two chrome-plated strips and lower-set air intake. It also receives new double-optic headlights with daytime running lights. David Durand, Head of Styling for the Entry Range said, “Identity components such as the grille have been modernised. We have also strengthened the 4x4 cues of the vehicle, while keeping all its useful features. The new Duster gets an even stronger character while retaining its initial DNA”

New Duster-labeled roof bars with slatted supports underline the car’s SUV character, while new 16-inch ‘Dark Metal’ alloy wheels and ‘Mud and Snow’ tyres enhance the profile of the new Duster.
