Renault has surpassed the production milestone of 10 lakh cars in the Indian market. It rolled out the 10,00,000th unit of the Kiger finished in red paint from its manufacturing city, located in Chennai, India. According to Renault, the Chennai-based plant contributed to the milestone. It has a production capacity of 4.80 lakh units per annum. Recently, the automaker reported surpassing the production mark of nine lakh units in our market. It revealed several factors behind its sales growth in the country, such as commitment to client satisfaction, innovative product range, and a better network. Renault offers three models in our market: the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. According to Renault India, all current models in the portfolio come standard with cutting-edge technology, safety features, and exciting customer benefits.

2023 Renault Kwid, Triber, Kiger: Key Highlighlights
Renault has stated in its press release that following the Make-in-India objective of the Indian government, it has boosted its exports over time. Presently, it exports its three passenger cars – the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber – to 14 nations, including the SAARC, Asia Pacific, Indian Oceanic, South Africa, and East Africa regions. For this month, the carmaker provides a range of benefits up to Rs 67,000 on the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber models. The offers are applicable on both MY22 and MY23 units of these Renault cars. Aside from this, the firm offers a rural discount of Rs 5,000 and a scrappage advantage of 10,000 on all cars. In India, the Renault Kiger comes with the highest benefits.

Renault Duster SUV India Launch Soon?
If some industry sources are to be believed, Renault plans to launch the next-generation Duster SUV in the country. It will reportedly be based on a heavily-localised CMF-B modular platform, co-produced by Renault and Nissan. There is no official confirmation, but market speculations are rife that the SUV could be launched in our market in 2025. In terms of improvement over the older version, the upcoming Duster SUV will likely get thin LED headlights, revamped grille, a new bumper, etc.
