Land Rover has brought in a new variant of the Range Rover that aims at striking a perfect chord between performance and luxury.
Land Rover has launched a brand new version of its flagship Range Rover SUV in India. Christened as the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic, the model is designed by Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team.
The SVAutobiography Dynamic edition aims to offer exquisite luxury with compromising on performance you’d expect from a vehicle this expensive. So, handling the performance duty is a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol motor, which pumps 542bhp of power - good enough to pull this mammoth of a SUV from 0-100km/h in a brisk 5.4 seconds.
Now, let's take a note of all the exquisite luxury equipment thrown in. The SUV features ‘Diamond Quilted’ seats which are offered in a choice of four interior colour ways and with ‘Autobiography’ stitching. Certain exclusive finishing touches, like the unique graphite atlas accents, distinctive Red Brembo branded brake calipers and bespoke wheels differentiate this from the other Range Rover variants. Also, Land Rover’s InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with 10-inch screen, sits in the centre of the dashboard.
On this occasion, Rohit Suri, MD of JLR India said, “We are excited to introduce the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic in India. The Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic is designed and engineered by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team who are passionate in their commitment to explore new frontiers of luxury, performance and technology with the objective of delivering an unmatched experience to our discerning and equally passionate customers.”
The Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic is the fourth vehicle to join the brand’s portfolio in India, after the Range Rover SVAutobiography, Range Rover Sport SVR and Jaguar F-TYPE SVR. The SUV is priced at Rs. 2.79 crore (ex-showroon, pan-India), and the company claims that it is already available to buy across all 25 Land Rover dealerships in India.
