Land Rover has launched the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition in India, priced at Rs 4.98 crore (ex-showroom) and limited to just 12 units. This special edition, developed by Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), pays homage to the Ranthambore National Park, blending luxury with rugged off-road capability. The vehicle features unique design elements, including a custom two-tone exterior and interior inspired by nature. With advanced technology and premium materials, the Ranthambore Edition caters to those seeking exclusivity and performance in the ultra-luxury SUV segment. The limited production run enhances its appeal, making it a highly sought-after model for collectors and enthusiasts looking for a rare and distinctive Range Rover. Notably, the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from each vehicle sale to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India, supporting initiatives to boost tiger and wildlife conservation efforts.

Range Rover describes the special edition as capturing the commanding presence and essence of the tiger in its natural environment. Inspired by the critical role Ranthambore National Park plays in tiger conservation, the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is curated by SV Bespoke. It features a bespoke deep black body colour with a red shimmering effect, paying tribute to the majestic hues of the tiger. Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents, resembling the tiger's stripes, further enhance the design. This paint job extends to the roof and mirror caps, and the vehicle is equipped with striking 23-inch forged dark grey wheels featuring Corinthian Bronze inserts.

Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition: Interior Layout

Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching adorn the cabin of the Ranthambore Edition. At the same time, the dynamic motif of the tiger's spine's stripes serves as inspiration for the creative embroidery on the seats. Other interior bits include personalised scatter cushions, elegant chrome highlights, light linear wenge veneers, and white ceramic dials.

The vehicle is equipped with fully reclining seats and boasts a long wheelbase. Additional features include a powered club table, deployable cupholders, and a refrigerated compartment fitted with SV-etched glassware. Custom touches on the Ranthambore Edition include unique paintwork, accent detailing, special wheels, embroidered seats and cushions, and SV Bespoke-branded tread plates, marked with the 'Ranthambore Edition' and '1 of 12' designation.

Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition: Feature Set

When it comes to features, the car boasts amenities such as a 13.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, digital LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs), 11.4-inch rear touchscreens, an active noise cancellation-equipped 35-speaker, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System, an 8-inch touchscreen controller for the rear seats, cabin air purification, and a 3D surround camera system.

Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition: Powertrain Options

On the mechanical front, a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which belts out 394bhp of maximum power and 550Nm of peak torque, powers the four-wheel drive Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition. It is coupled to an eight-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. Priced at Rs 2.6 crore (ex-showroom), the Autobiography edition of Range Rover also features a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
