The Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be officially revealed in November this year, Land Rover has announced.

This announcement coincides with Land Rover successfully testing the Evoque Convertible at Eastnor Castle estate, in Herefordshire, UK. A video and camouflage shots of the car were also released by the Tata Motors-owned company.

Mike Cross, Land Rover Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integrity, said: “Land Rover prides itself on being a class leader when it comes to all-terrain capability and the Evoque Convertible is no different. Thanks to a combination of innovative engineering and the application of advanced technologies, Evoque Convertible will deliver a dynamic and assured SUV experience that has been tested around the world. We call it ‘The Convertible for all Seasons’.”

Land Rover confirmed plans to launch a convertible version of the Evoque SUV at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. And it is sticking to its plans, with a public debut slated in November at the Los Angeles Motor Show.

The Evoque Convertible will go on sale in the UK next spring. It remains to be seen whether and when this car will be brought to our shores.
