Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid takes centre stage in the buzz of automotive jubilation. Barely two weeks into the spotlight, the 2024 Panamera has already become a sensation, and the festivities at the Leipzig assembly line are far from over. In breaking news, the assembly line is abuzz with exhilaration as it bids farewell to its two-millionth Porsche masterpiece. Stealing the spotlight is none other than the magnificent Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, adorned in the lavish hues of Madeira Gold Metallic. The high-performance sedan is en route to its discerning customer in Dubai, marking the latest chapter in the Panamera model line's illustrious journey that commenced at the Leipzig facility in 2009.
"The expansion to a full factory was a groundbreaking decision for the site. As a full factory, we manufacture models in their entirety, from the construction of the body to the final assembly. This has laid the foundation for new car projects and continued growth,” says Gerd Rupp, Chairman of the Management Board of Porsche Leipzig GmbH.
Many awards have been given to the Porsche plant in Leipzig for its innovative "smart factory" methods. In order to be ready for the future, the plant combines intelligence, digitalization, and connectivity in a way that doesn't stand out. It wants to be a Zero Impact Factory, which means it will leave no environmental impact.

2024 Porsche Panamera: Interior
Taking design cues from the most recent Cayenne and Taycan models, the 2024 Panamera's cabin has been extensively upgraded. Two standout features are the 12.6-inch Cayenne instrument panel and the 12.3-inch Taycan infotainment screen. Furthermore, a separate 10.9-inch screen is available to the co-driver for tracking data or media access.
The updated design has a more user-friendly and practical layout, with features including a redesigned steering system and a gear lever that is conveniently located on the column of the steering wheel. In a feature reminiscent of the Taycan's interface, an exclusive function linked to the infotainment screen permits regulation of airflow from the unique C-shaped air circulation vents.
To make sure everyone in the new Panamera stays secure, it comes with a bunch of safety features like an electronic stability programme (ESP), a 360-degree camera, remote park assist, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
