Automobili Pininfarina has revealed the open-air two-seater - the B95. The firm will only make 10 of the open-top hypercars, which will be available for purchase in 2025, in time for the company's 95th-anniversary festivities. Pininfarina B95: Design
The avante-garde PURA design concept by Pininfarina has served as an inspiration for this roofless hypercar's distinctive appearance. The front body panel of the hypercar has narrow headlights lower and vertical slats in the centre, unlike the Battista.
The unique, electronically adjustable aero screens for the driver and passenger set the B95 apart from the bulk of Speedster and Barchetta vehicles. They are composed of clear polycarbonate with exposed aluminium supports and, are designed after vintage fighter jets. Additionally, for added comfort, they can be easily raised and lowered.
Aside from this, the all-new B95 looks like a Battista from the rear due to its identical slim LED taillights. It does, however, receive a unique bumper and diffuser design. The B95 is equipped with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear black aluminium wheels. Each of the 10 B95s, according to the automaker, will be completely unique due to the company's extensive customization options. Additionally, customers will have the choice to acquire the helmets in accordance with the B95's compatible specs.
Pininfarina B95: Interior
The interior of the new Pininfarina vehicle features three screens behind the steering wheel and a lot of carbon fibre trim, as well as the same centre console and dashboard layout as the Battista Coupe. The car's interior has sustainable leather upholstery in brown, with brushed black aluminium anodized finishes strewn throughout.
The seats have a classic race car-inspired look that curves around the user. They are two-toned, with tan upholstery on the lower part and Pied de Poule Houndstooth material on the upper part. The interior of the B95 can be personalised to suit the preferences of the buyer, much as the exterior. In addition to the stitching and upholstery, customers can also have the B95's laser-engraved aluminium skid plate customised.
Pininfarina B95: Powertrain
The open-air two-seater has a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that feeds four electric motors to produce a total output of 1874bhp. The B95 can be charged using a DC fast charger with a maximum output of 270kW, which can boost its battery from 20% to 80% in less than 25 minutes. The car can go more than 450 kilometres on a single charge and can speed from 0 to 96 km/h in less than two seconds. Additionally, the company claims that this new speedster can reach a top speed of roughly over 300 km/h.
