Pagani's 720bhp hypercar gets a one-off special edition variant to celebrate its sales milestone.
Italian hypercar maker Pagani has delivered the 100th and the final unit of its Huayra coupe, christened Huayra L’Ultimo. After this, Pagani will only produce the Huayra in its roadster avatar.
The L’Ultimo, which translates to ‘The Last’ in English, has been delivered to a customer in Miami, USA. The car features special livery inspired by Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes-AMG Formula One car. Therefore, the car sports teal accents across the exterior, including on the front splitter, mirrors, bonnet, wheels, roof and rear diffuser. The base colour of the hypercar is silver.
The Huayra coupe is powered by a Mercedes-AMG sourced 6.0-litre twin turbo V12 motor that's good for producing 720bhp of max power and 1000Nm of peak torque. Power is channeled to rear wheels via a 7-speed sequential transmission.
Very recently, Pagani made headline by announcing the price of its super exclusive Zonda HP Barchetta, which, at around ₹120 crore before taxes, is the most expensive car to be sold in the world. It is speculated that just like the Zonda, the Huayra too will have an extended production run in the form of special edition models.
