Remember when Automobili Lamborghini had unveiled its plug-in-hybrid version of the Urus SUV, the Urus SE, at the Volkswagen Group Media Night event held on April 24, 2024?! New looks, new heart, more power, bigger screen, and better aerodynamics. Fast forward to the present day, the Italian automaker took the wraps off its one-off Urus SE, the artistic oeuvre of the company's in-house Ad Personam atelier. Presented at Art Basel Miami Beach 2024 this week, the special Ad Personam Urus SE draws inspiration from the 'vibrant Miami lifestyle and its diversity'. Lamborghini says the 'dramatic' exterior required an additional 230 hours of painting and testing over the normal industrial process. That's roughly 10 days.

A homage to the city's mix of culture, style and artistic flair, the Miami-inspired Urus SE features a grey finish with a combination of black (Nero Noctis) and light grey (Grigio Telestro) stripes. Adding contrast to this are the striking accents of Blu Glauco. 'With this authentic piece of art, we have created the most sophisticated livery ever seen on the Urus, to inspire our customers with graphics that underline the outstanding proportions and the iconic design of the car,' said Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini.

One-off Lamborghini Urus SE: Powertrain

Underneath the skin, the Urus SE has a 612bhp, 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that powers the Urus S, along with an 189bhp electric motor. When combined, the plug-in-hybrid car makes an impressive 789bhp of maximum power at 6,000rpm and 950Nm of peak torque at 1,750rpm to 5,750rpm. The electric motor is housed within the eight-speed automatic transmission and draws power from a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack placed under the load floor.
