Under the new scheme, customers can return their Kia Carnival if not satisfied within the first 30 days of purchase, recovering 95% of the cost incurred.
Kia India has rolled out a new, disruptive ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ for new Carnival buyers across the country that will allow private owners to return the vehicle within the first 30 days of purchase if they are not satisfied with it. The offer is applicable to all variants of the Carnival and customers will recover 95% of the ex-showroom cost as well as any overhead costs incurred for registration/finance of the vehicle.
However, the vehicle should meet certain criteria to be eligible for the scheme. For example, the vehicle should not have clocked more than 1,500kms from the date of purchase and should be free of any damage, failure, pending claims, etc. Additionally, an owner's agreement for the transfer of the vehicle including all documentation & charges will be obligatory. The vehicle should also be hypothecation-free and a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for the same should be submitted from the financer's end.
The Kia Carnival was launched in India in February 2020 at the Auto Expo, with prices starting from ₹24.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level Premium 7-seater variant. Kia India claims the Carnival has clocked sales of over 6,200 units since its launch, with the top-end Limousine variant contributing up to 60% to the overall sales.
