Nissan India has reintroduced the Magnite with an updated standard feature list and revised price structure in India. The prices of the compact SUV have been increased by up to Rs 20,500, given the addition of a new set of standard safety features for 2023. The Nissan Magnite SUV's safety features include Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). These features are standard across the variants. Interestingly, the two front tweeters and the rear parcel tray have been removed from the mid-spec XL variant, while the LED foglamps are only available in the top-spec XV Premium version.

Previously, the standard safety equipment list of the Magnite comprised ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, and front seat belt reminder. Now, the carmaker has offered additional features for the enhanced safety of customers.

Nissan India has increased the prices of the compact SUV by up to Rs 20,500. As of now, we have no information about the exact cost, but it is likely to be revealed alongside the revised BS6 Phase 2-compliant powertrains in the coming months.

Mechanically, two engine choices are available for the Nissan Magnite SUV in India – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, which offers 71bhp and 96Nm, and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which generates 99bhp and 160Nm. Both units come standard with a five-speed manual transmission, while the turbocharged petrol engine also has a CVT automatic transmission as an option.
