Nissan has introduced the Magnite Geza Special Edition for India with new features. The manufacturer has given the Magnite a new set of enhancements claiming to provide an improved sensory experience. Prices of the special edition SUV will be announced on May 26, as confirmed by Nissan. For reference, the standard Magnite ranges between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10.58 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of rivalry, it takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and the Tata Nexon. The special edition model, the company says, draws inspiration from Japanese theatre and its expressive musical themes. It comes with a list of new features, including traction control, ESP, TPMS, etc. Prospective buyers looking to buy the Geza Edition can place their orders as its bookings are now open at all Nissan showrooms for Rs 11,000.

The Nissan Magnite is deemed one of the safest cars in the segment. It has scored a 4-star adult occupant safety rating from the Global NCAP. We are introducing the Magnite GEZA Special Edition with best-in-class contemporary features that enhance the Magnite’s value proposition for discerning customers", said Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India.
Nissan Magnite Geza Edition: New Features
The Geza Edition comes with some additional features such as beige colour seat upholstery, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, JBL speakers, ambient lighting with app-based controls, a trajectory rear camera, and a shark fin antenna. The standard Magnite already comes equipped with LED headlamps, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, 50+ connected car features, and Smartwatch connectivity.
In terms of safety, the Geza Edition of the Magnite gets hill start assist, traction control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESP, hydraulic brake assist, and ABS with EBD.

Nissan Magnite Geza Edition: Powertrain & Gearbox
The Nissan Magnite already complies with BS6 Phase II emission norms. Similar to the standard version, the Geza edition gets two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine rated at 99bhp/160Nm and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 71bhp and 96Nm. On offer are two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a CVT.
Nissan Magnite SUV: Discounts for May 2023
In recent news, the manufacturer also announced a number of offers for customers buying the Magnite SUV in India. For the month of May, the manufacturer is offering its customers to bring home the popular Magnite at up to Rs 57,000 off on the market cost. These offers and discounts shall remain valid till May 31, 2023.
