Nissan Motor India is celebrating the first anniversary of the Magnite Geza Edition with a new special edition model. After making its first appearance with non-turbo petrol MT last year, the Nissan Magnite Geza has now arrived in the turbo-petrol CVT avatar. Priced at Rs 9.84 lakh (ex-showroom), the Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition is the most affordable turbo CVT option in its segment.
However, the Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition gets the same features as the Magnite Geza Edition. These are beige colour seat upholstery, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, JBL speakers, ambient lighting with app-based controls, a trajectory rear camera, a shark fin antenna, and Geza Edition badging. The standard Magnite already comes equipped with LED headlamps, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, 50+ connected car features, and Smartwatch connectivity.

Nissan Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition: Safety Kit
In terms of safety, the Geza CVT Special Edition gets hill start assist, traction control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability programme (ESP), hydraulic brake assist, and ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution).
Nissan Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition: Engine
As the name implies, the Nissan Magnite Geza Special CVT Edition draws power from a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a CVT gearbox. The engine is tuned to produce 99bhp and 152Nm of peak torque.
Nissan Magnite Facelift Incoming
Nissan is readying the facelifted Magnite for India launch, which will likely happen sometime next year. The facelifted version is expected to bring in visual enhancements and additional features. That said, one can expect the engine options to be carried over from the outgoing version.

The current Nissan Magnite is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable compact SUVs in the country. Expect the facelifted version to command a similar price range. Once launched, it will continue to take on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Exter, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV3X0, and Tata Nexon.
