Nissan India has released the first teaser for the Magnite Facelift, showing us the new 6-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. There is no proof, but these wheels may be similar in size to those (16 inches) found in the pre-facelift model. As we previously announced, the upgraded SUV will go on sale in our market on October 4, 2024. Nissan hasn't disclosed any information as of yet, but significant changes are anticipated for the sub-4-meter vehicle to keep pace with the growing competition. If you're curious about what the redesigned Magnite could bring to the table, read on.

Inside, the SUV will likely keep its original design, with new-colour accents and seat materials. It is expected to include a single-pane sunroof and a larger touchscreen infotainment system while retaining a 7-inch digital driver display, and wireless phone charging.

In terms of safety, there may be an improvement with the addition of six airbags. However, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors will remain available.

Nissan Magnite Facelift: Powertrain

Although Nissan hasn't revealed anything, the new Magnite is expected to carry over with the same 1.0-litre turbocharged and 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine options. The former churns out 100bhp and 160Nm (152Nm in CVT), while the latter develops 72bhp and 96Nm. A five-speed AMT and a five-speed manual are the possible gearbox options.
