Nissan India has launched the facelifted Magnite in India for an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), applicable for the first 10,000 customers. The price goes up to Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line variant. The revamped model comes with several cosmetic and feature updates. There are six variants on offer: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. As part of the lead-up to this launch, the company recently announced that bookings for the new-gen Magnite are now open, with a token amount of Rs 11,000. Nissan says that it will export the Made-in-India Magnite to over 65 countries.

For the uninitiated, the Magnite was the Japanese automaker's inaugural global SUV launched as part of its NEXT transformation strategy. When it comes to market rivalry, the new Magnite will lock horns with the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

2024 Nissan Magnite Rear

Talking about the design, the new Magnite doesn't appear drastically different from the pre-facelift model. It retains the same LED headlamps and boomerang-shaped DRLs, while the grille, though similar, is now comparatively larger with more chrome and gloss-black elements. The fog lamps have been repositioned slightly inward, and the front bumper has been redesigned, sporting a more aggressive skid plate. At the rear, the boot lip and bumpers are unchanged, but the LED tail lamps have been somewhat modified with different internal lighting elements. Moreover, the side profile remains mostly the same, but the car now rides on new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
