Nissan has finally launched the Magnite AMT in India at an introductory price of Rs 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the carmaker has given customers an affordable automatic transmission in the Magnite line-up. It's important to keep in mind that the recently revealed introductory prices of the AMT model are only valid for bookings made before November 10, which are already underway for Rs 11,000. The Magnite AMT is available in XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium variants and a Kuro Special Edition.

The Magnite Kuro Special Edition was recently introduced in the country, with prices starting at Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magnite AMT is the brand's second automatic option for its SUV, following the CVT, which is available with the turbo-petrol mill. Nissan Magnite AMT: Engine
The car comes equipped with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed AMT. The automatic transmission (AMT) offers a slew of new features, such as ESC, traction control and hill-hold assist. This transmission is available in all five trim levels – XE, XL, XV, Kuro Edition, and XV Premium.
As for the performance figures, the NA petrol mill with an automatic transmission delivers 76bhp and 96Nm. The ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of the Magnite AMT is 19.7km/l.
Nissan Magnite AMT: New Paint Option
Except for the significant powertrain upgrade, the Magnite appears to be the same. However, Nissan recently introduced a new shade, called Vivid Blue, which with a black roof will be available only for the higher-end trims of the Magnite AMT.

Nissan Magnite AMT: Price and Competitors
As previously stated, the Nissan Magnite AMT has an introductory price tag of Rs 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom). According to the automaker, this model is the most affordable automatic SUV in India at this price point. It's important to note that the AMT model's recently announced introductory price is only applicable for bookings made prior to November 10. In terms of market competition, the new Nissan Magnite AMT competes with other AMT-based SUVs on the market, such as the Tata Punch, Nexon, Hyundai Exter, Renault Kiger, and Mahindra XUV300.
