Nissan has launched the limited edition Micra X-Shift CVT in India at a price tag of Rs 6.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Only 750 such models will be sold by the Japanese manufacturer.

The Micra X-Shift CVT is based on the mid-spec XL variant and ditches the manual transmission for an automatic system. Other changes include a black roof top and racing stripes on the bottom edge of the doors.

On the inside, the Nissan Micra X-Shift CVT sports the same steering wheel found in the Sunny sedan, while the infotainment system has been upgraded to support Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity.

Nissan's latest offering is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that produces 76 PS of power and 104 Nm. It will rival the automatic versions of Hyundai Grand i10 and Honda Brio.
