The Nissan GT-R is no stranger to Mumbai roads. Why? Because Mumbai-boy Sachin Tendulkar owns one. The mean red machine can be spotted in the wee hours of the morning in and around Worli doing the rounds of the city.

Nissan has now introduced an exclusive version of the GT-R in France and has christened it the Gentleman Edition. Based on the GT-R Black Edition this one features an exclusive Grey Squale and ‘Gentleman Edition’ badging next to the front rear vents.

Nissan has made no changes to the powertrain and it gets the same 3.8-litre V6. There is no change in the output either which stands at 542bhp. Mated to a six-speed semi-automatic dual clutch transmission which sends power to all-four wheels, the GT-R manages to do a top speed of 311km/h.

The Nissan GT-R Gentleman Edition also gets amber red leather upholstery and an individually-numbered titanium plaque. Only 10 such cars will be sold in France, but I still don’t get it, how can one be a gentleman behind the wheel of this monster of a car?
