A test mule of the Jeep Meridian SUV with an ADAS suite has recently been sighted in Bengaluru, India. While it didn't show any significant design upgrades, the three-row SUV was undergoing testing by Bosch. The Meridian SUV currently has six airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a hill start assist, ISOFIX attachments for child seats, an ISOFIX camera with parking sensors for safety, and ABS with EBD in its safety net. The demand for the Meridian is expected to skyrocket in India if the automaker outfits it with ADAS technology. Jeep sells a range of vehicles in India, including the Meridian, the Grand Cherokee, the Wrangler, and the Compass. Among these, only the Grand Cherokee features ADAS functionality. By introducing ADAS on the Meridian SUV, the automaker is looking to enhance its reach in the Indian market. Let's take a closer look at other details of the SUV.

Jeep Meridian SUV: Some Feature Highlights
The SUV incorporates ADAS sensors in the lower grille, as seen in the spy photos. Since the vehicle was a Bosch test vehicle, as was previously indicated, the automaker may procure the ADAS sensors from the Bosch. There won't be any significant mechanical or cosmetic changes made to the SUV. A 2-litre diesel engine with a maximum power output of 168bhp and a peak torque of 350Nm powers the Jeep Meridian. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. There are two main broad variants of the SUV — Limited and Limited (O). Meridian X, Meridian Upland, and Meridian Overland are the three available special editions of the SUV.
The Meridian is offered in four dual-tone tints and one monotone paint scheme: Techno Metallic Green, Velvet Red, New Pearl White, and Magnesio Grey, all with black roofs, and Brilliant Black. The Upland edition receives a new Galaxy Blue colour option, while the X edition is available in Silver Grey paint choice.
The SUV's features include a 10.1-inch infotainment display, dual-zone climate control, reclinable second and third-row seats (to a maximum temperature of 32 degrees), wireless phone charging, linked car technology, and a 9-speaker Alpine-tuned sound system.
