Honda will launch the third generation Amaze in India on December 4 of this year. The compact sedan is expected to be more expensive than its predecessor (Rs 7.20 lakh to Rs 9.96 lakh), with visual and feature enhancements. It will continue to compete with the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which is also getting a facelift soon. Following the makeover, Honda's compact sedan will have serious exterior upgrades, including dual-barrel LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, a hexagonal grille with a honeycomb pattern, a muscular front bumper with massive intakes, brand-new LED taillights, and fresh alloy wheels. It will most likely include a shark fin antenna, smoked taillights, and a reverse camera, among other features. While Honda hasn't announced anything, the third-gen Amaze is likely to be more feature-rich than before. Here are the top 5 features that the upcoming sedan may get over its predecessor.

A Single-pane Sunroof
Due to increased demand from customers, sunroofs are now a common feature found on all types of cars. The all-new Dzire is the first vehicle in its segment to get a sunroof. Although Honda has not confirmed anything as of yet, we expect the new Amaze to include a single-pane sunroof to keep up with its Maruti Suzuki rival.
A Larger Infotainment Unit
Honda will likely offer a bigger 8-inch infotainment unit on the third-generation Amaze. Currently, the sedan has a 7-inch touchscreen. However, if the upcoming model receives a larger unit, it will be able to match up with the Hyundai Aura, which also features an 8-inch display.
A Semi-digital Driver’s Display
Given the growing trend of digital car displays, Honda's revamped sedan is expected to include a semi-digital panel. It currently includes two analogue dials and a small coloured screen in the middle.
A Wireless Phone Charger
Wireless chargers are becoming increasingly important in cars today for a cleaner and more organised setup, and seamless integration, among others. Honda is expected to equip its upcoming sedan with a wireless phone charger for an enhanced user experience.
Six Airbags
Honda's sub-4m sedan currently comes with dual front airbags. We anticipate that the revised model will up its safety quotient with six airbags as standard. This feature is available on both the City and Elevate.
