We have seen, loved and drooled over the Lamborghini Gallardo which has been with us since 2004, and finally the Italian supercar manufacturer has confirmed that the 2013 facelift version of this supercar will indeed be ‘The Final Gallardo’. We’ve fallen head over heels in love with how the car looks and the sound the naturally aspirated V10 makes, and that is why it is hard to say good bye to this wonderful supercar. The Gallardo will go out with a bang as the 2013 version is expected to come out in both the coupe and the open-air Spyder variant.
With a restyled front-end and a renewed rear, the 2013 Gallardo looks beautiful, as it always has and that’s just putting it mildly. Features like gloss black paint on the front spoiler, carbon ceramic brakes, distinctive paintwork with contrasting roof arches, and intakes which are all part of the Edizion Technica option, make its way into the new version.
The 2013 Gallardo will also be the recipient of the naturally aspirated V10 that we love and will get a paddle-shift, dual-clutch automatic transmission. Since we expect it to be lighter than the current version, there is no doubt that the performance will be quite outstanding. It is still too early, say Lamborghini though, to let out the name or other details of the successor of this supercar and though there are a lot of speculations about it not much has information is currently.
However, given the recent cars that the Sant Agata based maker has turned out, we have no doubt the new car will be an absolute stonker too.
