After dominating and staying in the market for nearly 10 years, the new Toyota Innova was launched priced between Rs. 10.51 and Rs. 15.80 lakhs.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched a much needed upgraded version of highly successful Innova today. The price of the new Innova will start from Rs. 10.51 lakhs and will go up to Rs. 15.80 lakhs.
“The launch announcement coincides with the commemoration of the successful journey of the company’s flagship brand ‘Innova’, celebrating 10 years in India,” Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement.
Toyota also launched an automatic 4x4 version of its famous Fortuner which will be priced between Rs. 24.17 lakhs and Rs. 26.49 lakhs. The previous automatic version of the Fortuner was a basic 2x4 variant and lacked the 4x4 option.
“Alongside the launch of these two new products, we are very pleased to announce that TKM is the first manufacturer in the mass segment to have standardised front SRS airbags across all our models and in all grades,” N Raja, Director and Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said.
Both the cars come now preloaded with airbags, but thanks to the new prices and the rise in excise duty on cars, the new Innova will come at an additional cost of Rs. 73,000.
