The latest iteration of the Camry is propelled solely by a 2.5-litre, inline-four petrol-hybrid engine, offering a combined output of 227bhp and 221Nm of torque. Power is directed to the front wheels through an e-CVT gearbox, which includes a ten-speed Sequential Shift mode for a more engaging driving experience. The 2025 Toyota Camry has a claimed 0-100km/h time of 7.2 seconds and a top speed of 180km/h. In international markets, the Camry is also available with an all-wheel-drive system that dynamically adjusts torque between the front and rear wheels based on driving conditions.

In contrast, the Audi A4 is also offered with a single-engine choice and opts for a mild hybrid system. The car houses a 2.0-litre TFSI mill that delivers 190bhp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 7.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 241km/h. The onboard 12V mild hybrid system is designed to improve fuel efficiency by optimising energy usage.

The sedan’s interior has been redesigned with luxurious soft leather in a distinctive yellow-brown shade. The new Camry introduces a comprehensive suite of advanced features, prominently including two large 12.3-inch screens – one dedicated to the instrument cluster and the other for infotainment. The infotainment system supports wireless connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and integrates various connected car functionalities. Both front seats offer 10-way power adjustments, with the driver’s seat featuring a memory function for added convenience. Additional features come in the form of multi-zone climate control, wireless charging, rear air vents, a premium nine-speaker JBL audio system, and a panoramic sunroof.

In comparison, the Audi model comes equipped with a 10-inch MMI touchscreen with seamless smartphone integration. The front seats are electrically adjustable, with a memory setting for the driver’s seat. The cabin is enhanced by three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a stylish flat-bottom steering wheel, a sleek Piano Black centre console, and keyless access via its Comfort Key system. Furthermore, the car gets a high-end Bang & Olufsen sound system, featuring 19 strategically placed speakers, including a centre speaker, subwoofer, and 16-channel amplifier.

The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in four trims globally, but only a single variant has arrived in India, priced at Rs 48 lakh. Buyers can choose from a palette of six paint jobs, including Platinum White Pearl, Dark Blue, Emotional Red, Cement Grey, Precious Metal, and Attitude Black.

Audi A4 Rear Quarter

Meanwhile, the Audi A4 is available in three versions: Premium, Premium Plus, and Technology. The model’s price range starts at Rs 46.02 lakh for the base-spec model and goes up to Rs 54.58 lakh for the top-of-the-line trim. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. There are five colour options on offer: Tango Red Metallic, Manhattan Grey Metallic, Mythos Black Metallic, Ibis White, and Navarra Blue Metallic.
