Skoda Auto has officially launched the new Kodiaq in India, following its debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The SUV is offered in two variants – Sportline and Selection L&K – priced at Rs 46.89 lakh and Rs 48.69 lakh, respectively. Prices are ex-showroom. This second-generation model will serve as the Czech automaker’s flagship offering in the Indian market. It will be imported as a Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) unit for local assembly. Bookings are now open.
The latest iteration of the Skoda Kodiaq has seen key dimensional updates, now measuring 4,758mm in length, 61mm longer than its predecessor. While the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,971mm, the width has been reduced by 18mm to 1,864mm, and the height lowered by 17mm, now standing at 1,659mm. Skoda offers the SUV in seven metallic paint options, including Moon White, Race Blue, Bronx Gold, Velvet Red, Magic Black, Steel Grey, and Graphite Grey.
Positioned in the full-size SUV category, the new Kodiaq blends sophistication with contemporary styling. It incorporates full LED lighting across the front and rear, including headlamps, fog lamps, and a continuous LED light strip at the back. The two available trims bring distinct personalities to the model: the Sportline embraces a more performance-inspired design with blacked-out accents, while the Selection L&K emphasises luxury through tasteful chrome and silver embellishments.

Up front, the SUV is defined by Skoda’s iconic butterfly grille, which is further elevated in the top variant by adding a sleek LED light bar for a more upmarket appearance. Enhancing its stance are 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, with unique styling cues depending on the selected trim.
The all-new Skoda Kodiaq draws its power from a reengineered 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, featuring four cylinders capable of producing 201bhp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. This marks a performance bump of 14bhp over the previous model.
Paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the engine delivers power seamlessly to all four wheels via a standard all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. Skoda also estimates the SUV’s fuel efficiency at an impressive 14.86km/l.
Step inside the cabin, and the new Kodiaq impresses with a host of modern upgrades and tech-rich features. The dashboard is anchored by a large 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, joined by a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display and an advanced head-up display that projects key data directly into the driver’s field of view. A unique highlight is the Smart Dial setup – a trio of multifunctional knobs located just below the screen, designed to simplify access to various vehicle functions without distraction.
Luxury and convenience are priorities, with the inclusion of ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, three-zone climate control, front seats that are not only power-adjustable but also offer heating, cooling, and massaging functions, and a high-end 14-speaker Canton audio system.
Coming to the safety suite, you get hill descent control, electronic stability control (ESC), nine airbags as standard, ISOFIX child seat mounts, hill start assist, a 360-degree camera, a park assist system, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and front and rear parking sensors.
