Nissan launched the Magnite facelift last week in India. Priced from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), the new Nissan Magnite brings in design tweaks and new features as part of a mid-life cycle update. The update comes along with a new variant nomenclature inspired by the company's global-spec models. The variants are as follows: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. The powertrain options remain the same for the model, though.
Nissan offers a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (71bhp/96Nm) and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (99bhp/160Nm) with the new Magnite. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, while the naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol units get an optional 5-speed automatic and CVT, respectively. The manual variant claims a fuel efficiency of 20km/l, while the automatic version offers 17.4km/l. The less powerful petrol engine is standard across the model range, while the more powerful motor can be had with the Acenta and above. Let's take a closer look at what is offered on each variant:
