MG Motor India has commenced production of the 2023 MG Hector which is expected to boast a revised cabin, ADAS features, and more.
The production operations of the new MG Hector have started at the carmaker's manufacturing unit in Halol, Gujarat. Reportedly, the 1,00,000th unit of the model has rolled out of the production lines. This facelifted version is expected to mark its debut on 5 January 2023.

The updated MG Hector will continue to have a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine as well as a 2.0-litre diesel engine. It will also boast the same transmission options like a six-speed manual, a CVT, and a DCT unit as the existing model.
The new MG Hector is most likely to arrive with a larger front grille boasting a mesh-like pattern. The front and rear bumpers will be reprofiled with a chrome insert at the bottom. However, it will continue with the same split headlight as the standard model. The new MG Hector is expected to get modified rear lights and alloy wheel design.

The cabin of the facelifted version is expected to be reworked in order to include a digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, redesigned aircon vents, and a revamped centre console with an electronic parking brake, etc. The new model is anticipated to get ADAS features.
