As Mercedes-Benz gets ready to introduce the all-new E-Class to Indian customers later this year, it has announced that the luxury saloon will be available for purchase here in a long wheelbase (LWB) configuration. In the latest development regarding the same, the sixth-generation E-Class has been spotted on Indian roads ahead of its official launch. Two test mules of the high-end sedan were seen at a Pune yard. Of the two, one was finished in a black paint job, while the other was decked out in a silver shade. The soon-to-launch E-Class, like other domestically produced Mercedes-Benz models, will be distributed via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) units from the manufacturer's Chakan factory.
