Maruti Suzuki just launched the 2024 Swift in India, which costs Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the previous model, it boasts a new petrol engine and many interior and exterior upgrades. Additionally, there are two new eye-catching colours: Lustre Blue and Novel Orange, among four other choices you can choose from. In addition, Maruti Suzuki has Racing Roadstar and Thrill Chaser premium packages for customization of your Swift. The carmaker revealed its official mileage figures. With the 5-speed manual Swift reportedly can achieve 24.8 km/l and the 5-speed automatic version is said to give 25.75 km/l. Here are the main differences between the 2024 Swift and the old one.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift vs Old Model: Design
With its fourth generation, Swift has evolved its design while staying true to its roots. From every angle, you can see its Swift identity. It's got new angular headlights, a sleeker grille, and updated taillights for a more modern feel. One notable change is that it now has regular rear door handles instead of ones on the C-pillar like before. Plus, small tweaks like redesigned windows and a smoother line from the front to the back make it look even stronger overall.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift vs Old Model: Interior
The new Swift's interior got a makeover, drawing inspiration from newer Maruti Suzuki models. Inside, you'll find a big 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay—a big upgrade from the old 7-inch version. Plus, there's a top-notch 6-speaker Arkamy's sound system, easy-to-use cruise control, and convenient wireless phone charging.
When it comes to safety, Maruti stepped up for the 2024 Swift by adding six airbags as standard instead of just two in the past. And they didn't stop there; the new Swift also boasts features like a rear parking camera, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages, showing Maruti's serious commitment to keeping passengers safe.
