Maruti Suzuki has launched the fourth-generation Swift hatchback in India at a starting price of Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Its top variant, the ZXi+ AT, costs Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Adding to the appeal of this launch is Maruti Suzuki's Subscription program, offering an affordable path to owning a new Swift. Interested buyers can now drive a brand-new Maruti car for just Rs 17,436 per month, with no down payments. 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift: What's New?
The latest Swift comes with numerous upgrades. A refreshed design, advanced safety features, and a new engine for better fuel efficiency. Inside, the Swift boasts a modern interior design similar to the Fronx, Brezza, and Baleno. It includes a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, an Arkamys sound system, a Type-C charging port, automatic climate control, updated switchgear, an analogue instrument cluster, wireless charger, and rear AC vents. Additionally, all Swift models come standard with six airbags.
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift now features a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z12E engine, generating 81bhp and 112Nm of torque which is slightly lower than its predecessor. It offers a fuel efficiency of 24.8 km/l with the manual transmission and 24.75 km/l with the AMT.
