Following the launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift on May 9, the 2024 Dzire is anticipated to go on sale in India by June. The latter's upcoming iteration will be driven by a naturally aspirated (NA) 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. In terms of features, the sedan will likely have many new features and a sleeker appearance, much like the 2024 Swift. Upon launch, the updated Dzire will prove to be a more formidable rival to models like the Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze, and Hyundai Aura. Here is a list of features that the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire could offer over its competitors to provide more comfort and an upscale driving experience.

Larger Infotainment Screen
The 2024 Dzire will likely receive a larger nine-inch touchscreen, replacing the seven-inch unit present in the current model. The enhanced infotainment panel will include features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology. In contrast, the Hyundai Aura offers an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that only enables Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through wired support. The Dzire is also expected to get a new cabin layout that is comparable to other Maruti Suzuki vehicles like the Fronx and Baleno but with a distinct interior theme.
Sunroof
Going by the recent spy photos, the upcoming model could sport a single-pane sunroof. As a result, the 2024 Dzire will be India's first subcompact sedan with a sunroof and will become an appealing option for budget-conscious buyers.
Six Airbags as Standard
Six airbags should come standard on the 2024 Dzire. This will enable it to compete with other manufacturers who already offer six airbags as standard equipment on all of their car models. It will also help the sedan perform better in safety crash tests, which have become stringent over time. For the uninitiated, all current Dzire models come with dual airbags as standard equipment.
A 360-Degree Camera
The new-generation Dzire is also expected to come equipped with a 360-degree camera. This first-in-segment feature will make it easier to manoeuvre the vehicle through confined parking spaces and densely packed traffic. Except for the Jimny off-roader, every Maruti Suzuki model with an infotainment system offers a 360-degree camera. The current Dzire includes rear parking sensors and a reverse camera.
Heads-up Display (HUD)
The heads-up display (HUD) is another feature that the new Dzire may have over competitors like Hyundai Aura. This premium feature is also available with the Fronx SUV and Baleno hatchback. With a HUD onboard, the driver doesn't have to look away from the road ahead to see information like current speed, clock, RPM, and instant fuel economy. All these details are projected onto a small glass piece above the instrument cluster.

A 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift test mule was spotted with a blind spot detection feature, suggesting that the new Dzire could offer it as well. This feature can raise the sedan's safety quotient even further. Other amenities that can potentially expand the feature suite of the car are a wireless phone charger, six airbags, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The Hyundai Aura already has these features.
