Kia has officially unveiled the sketches of its upcoming mid-size SUV, which features the brand's Design 2.0 philosophy, and 'high-level advancements in tech, space, and safety.' The SUV has a boxy form, a flat roof, flush door handles, a squared-off rear windscreen, an upright nose, L-shaped high taillamps, sturdy roof rails, and vertical headlamps. Its C-pillar is hidden beneath a continuous glass panel that runs from the rear quarter window to the rear door. While Kia has not announced anything, the recently teased Kia 2.0 SUV is speculated to be called 'Syros' and positioned between the Sonet and Seltos.

Kia 2.0 SUV: Interior and Features
Kia hasn't revealed the interior of its first SUV under the 2.0 strategy. Previous spy shots, however, indicate that the Syros/Mid-size SUV will feature a new two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, dual displays like the Seltos, driving and traction modes, leatherette upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, climate control, and a Bose audio system. With a strong emphasis on safety, the new SUV is anticipated to include a 360-degree camera, up to six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rear disc brakes, and ADAS.
Kia 2.0 SUV: Powertrain
The technical details are currently unknown, but various market rumours indicate that the new SUV will provide a variety of powertrains, including ICE and electric. The ICE version with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, will most likely arrive first, followed by the EV model.

Kia 2.0 SUV: Expected Price
The ICE version of the Syros is likely to go on sale early next year, starting at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the EV is expected to arrive in the middle of 2025.
