Toyota has released the first teaser of the next-gen Land Cruiser Prado ahead of its global debut. The 2024 Toyota Prado was visible next to the original 1960 Toyota FJ40 in the company's official teaser. The image showed the profiles of both SUVs, demonstrating how much the Land Cruiser has changed over time. Despite the official photo's limited visibility, it was simpler to discern that the forthcoming model will have a boxier, more angular design language than the current model. According to industry reports, the new-gen Land Cruiser Prado will have a similar architecture and powertrain as the recently unveiled third-generation Lexus GX SUV.
The upcoming Land Cruiser Prado will be sold in the North American market for the first time. Several industry reports claim that the carmaker is most likely to omit the Prado suffix in North America and refer to the vehicle there as the Land Cruiser. In India, the Land Cruiser Prado is not anticipated to enter anytime soon. According to some market speculations, the SUV won't likely reach our market for another year or two.
