The 2025 Citroen Ami has made its debut at the ongoing Paris Motor Show, alongside the beach-ready Buggy Vision concept. The updated Ami retains its size but features upgraded lights, bumpers, and a new Citroen emblem. It comes with revised headlights wrapped in black 'eyelids', and elevated to the bottom of the windscreen. They are joined by a new capsule that resembles a wide smile. Other notable highlights include striations on the front right fender and rear left fender, and wheel covers with Lego-like cubes. Citroen hasn't revealed any cabin changes, so we assume everything remains the same.

The French automaker has also not divulged the powertrain, which means the 2025 iteration will continue to use a 5.5kWh battery with a range of up to 74 kilometres, and an 8bhp electric motor. The top speed stands at 28km/h.

The quirky Buggy Vision concept seems to be a futuristic beach-themed Ami. It has black graphics, a midnight blue colour scheme with a contrasting white top, thick tyres, black-tinted wheel arch protectors a white Citroen badge, yellow-tinted headlamps, a rear spoiler, and a roof-mounted LED light bar.

The concept has a sunroof but no doors. According to Citroen, 'designers worked on this body-built edition of Ami with the theme of kite surfing'. Dedicated mounts for a kite surfboard on the tube doors and a devoted baggage compartment to hold the kite sail add to this adventure. Inside, the concept boasts an Infrared tint for the upholstery and redesigned seat cushions with a quilted pattern.

Citroen has not confirmed anything, but market rumours suggest that the fun concept could evolve into a production model. The possibility of this quirky masterpiece becoming available for purchase is high because the previous version of the My Ami Buggy was so well-received by customers that Citroen was compelled to increase its relatively small production quantities.
