BMW has launched the new X6 in India at a price tag of Rs 1.15 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV will be sold in India through the CBU route.

The new BMW X6 is powered by a 3.0-litre six cylinder engine that churns out 308 bhp and is mated to a eight-speed automatic gearbox that delivers power to all four wheels.

The front of the X6 is dominated by the signature kidney grille, with the L-shaped tail lights with three dimensional LED Adaptive lights being the striking feature on the rear of the SUV.

On the inside, Dakota upholstery comes as standard with Nappa leather optional for the buyer. The SUV offers 580 litres of storage space which can be increased further by pulling down the seats.

On the safety front, the BMW X6 is equipped with driver, passenger and side airbags, stability control, run-flat tyres and crash sensors. The vehicle automatically detects when a crash has occurred and overrides the central locking settings, allowing the occupants to emerge out of the car without hassle.
