The new avatar of the BMW M5 was leaked on BMW’s website car configurator, due thanks to an employee who accidentally uploaded the images.
The BMW M5 gets refreshed exteriors like the kidney shaped front-grille which has larger vertical slats when compared to the existing model. No visible changes otherwise to the rear or the side of the car.
The interiors of the M5 though, get a few upgrades. A new steering wheel to begin with. It’s slimmer than the current model and paddle shifters which look more up market than before. Then there is the touch sensitive iDrive controller as well.
The new BMW M5 will most probably carry the same 4.4-litre V8 TwinTurbo 560 bhp churning engine but there are people talking in hushed tones suggesting the introduction of a new Competition Package for it. This is likely to boost the new M5’s power to 575 bhp, good enough to take on the likes of the Mercedes E63 AMG.
