BMW is set to launch the new M4 CS performance sedan in India on October 4, bringing the high-performance model to the market with enhanced features and capabilities. Positioned between the standard M4 and the more extreme M4 GTS, the M4 CS is designed to deliver a track-focused driving experience while retaining everyday usability. It comes equipped with a powerful 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, producing impressive horsepower and torque. The M4 CS also features lightweight materials, improved aerodynamics, and advanced technology, all aimed at enhancing speed and handling. Owing to its niche appeal, the sedan is anticipated to be released as a limited-edition model in the Indian market. It will most likely arrive through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.

New BMW M4 CS: Design
The most recent version of the M4 CS, with its wider kidney grille, sharper, more angular lines, and eye-catching yellow inlays in the headlights, epitomises BMW's evolving design philosophy. Emphasising its motorsport heritage, these design elements give the car an aggressively bold look, particularly from the front. The rear is equally striking, with M-specific design cues and strong lines, highlighting its performance-oriented character.
New BMW M4 CS: Cabin
BMW's renowned minimalist design philosophy is combined with race-inspired components inside the M4 CS. A unique CS badging embroidered into the headrests of the carbon fibre racing seats highlights the vehicle's aggressive design. While maintaining the luxury and sophistication one would expect from a BMW, the cabin's overall performance-oriented vibe is enhanced by the steering wheel's squared-off design and the subdued M branding throughout. Additional interior bits come in the form of a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a curved display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
New BMW M4 CS: Powertrain Options
The M4 CS is powered by BMW’s acclaimed 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six petrol engine, producing an impressive 550bhp and 649Nm of torque. This powplant enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and 200km/h in 11.1 seconds, highlighting its race-inspired performance. The electronically controlled top speed stands at 303km/h. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the engine delivers power through BMW’s M-specific xDrive all-wheel-drive system, providing excellent traction and control, whether at high speeds or during sharp cornering.
