The Bavarian automaker has unveiled the new M4 CS with more power, less weight, and a revised chassis, compared to the standard Competition. The two-door is positioned in the lineup between the more formidable CSL and the M4 Competition. It is driven by an upgraded 3.0-litre inline-six twin-turbo engine that delivers an incredible 536bhp, which is 20bhp more than the 2025 M4 Competition xDrive.
BMW asserts that adjustments to the engine management software and a bump in the maximum boost pressure to 30.5 psi are accountable for the rise in power output. The torque is 649Nm, which reaches its maximum at 2,750rpm and continues to 5,950rpm. The maximum power is achieved at 6,250rpm, although the motor may run up to 7,200rpm.

The CS comes only with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and 200km/h in 11.1 seconds. The electronically controlled top speed stands at 303km/h. Read more about the new BMW M4 CS.
New BMW M4 CS: What's More?
For better handling, the CS now has a meticulously tuned chassis with adjusted wheel camber settings and anti-roll bars. A cast aluminum strut brace increases torsional rigidity. Both adaptive dampers and the electrically assisted steering system are now modified. Moreover, the stability control system gets new programming along with the M Dynamic mode that adjusts the system's engagement levels to allow users to push limits.
The CS is equipped with a titanium exhaust silencer and a variety of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, such as the center console and gearbox paddles. This results in a 20 kg weight reduction over the M4 Competition xDrive.
The M4 CS's lightweight 19-inch alloy wheels up front and 20-inch at the rear are taken from the previous M3 CS. These are mounted on the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber, although a free upgrade to the more track-oriented Cup 2 R compound is also available.
The M4 CS stands out with its aggressive look and prominent carbon-fiber channels on the hood and roof, along with aerodynamic highlights such as the front splitter and rear spoiler. Its grille is frameless and highlighted with sporty red accents along with the M4 CS logo. The headlights comprise yellow lighting components in place of the standard white, and the taillights feature an intricate design.
The M4 CS comes in four paint schemes: Frozen Isle of Man Green metallic and Riviera Blue metallic (BMW Individual selection), as well as Brooklyn Grey metallic and Black Sapphire metallic (standard options). Inside, the CS has a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a curved display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
