The 2025 Continental GT Speed is set to debut on June 25 at 16:00 BST (8:30 pm in India), featuring Bentley's new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain. Compared to the old W12 model, it will generate more power (771bhp and 1000Nm) using the hybrid 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. Besides this exceptional power, the Grand Tourer will have an all-electric range of 80 kilometres, and a CO2 figure of less than 50g/km. Bentley claims that the upcoming Conti will be the most powerful road car ever made. It will have the newest chassis technology, including four-wheel steering, active all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, and an electronically limited slip differential. Additionally, it will get new dual-valve dampers and a 48-volt electric active anti-roll control.

New Bentley Continental GT Speed: More Highlights
Although exact power figures are not yet available, the new-gen model is expected to surpass the performance numbers of the previous version. For reference, the old W-12-based coupe had a top speed of 335km/h and a 0-100km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds. We currently don't have any detailed information on the appearance. The latest teaser, however, suggests the car will get a bigger grille, oval LED headlamps, and new LED DRLs. Although the weight hasn't been revealed by the firm, it's expected that the new luxury cruiser would weigh more than the previous model owing to the addition of hybrid components.
The new generation Continental GT Speed recently set an unofficial 'underwater speed record', hitting a top speed of 335km/h, which Bentley will also disclose on June 25. Notably, the record was set at Norway's Ryfylke Tunnel, the world's deepest and longest subsea road tunnel.

Given that the upcoming Continental GT is an upgraded version instead of a completely new car, its basic dimensions and interior design are unlikely to undergo significant changes. Having said that, the carmaker may add multiple styling elements and interior technologies to keep pace with the competition. While the automaker hasn't officially announced anything for India, the new Conti GT hybrid could arrive on our shores as a CBU unit after its global debut.
