Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Final Concept just got previewed by its Japanese manufacturer and will make its debut at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Considered as the end of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo era, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Final Concept was announced by the Japanese manufacturer. It would be the last street legal version of the high-performance Evo series. Only 2,000-2,500 units of these cars will be made which will also mark the end of the high-performance sedan.

The new 2015 Lancer Evolution X Final Edition will have a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that will pump out a massive 473bhp of power (which is 183bhp more than the stock model) and will be equipped with an HKS turbocharger, special high-performance intake system, exhaust system, fuel delivery system, cooling system and a new ECU, all upgraded and tuned by HKS which is one of the best known aftermarket brands in the world. It will also feature a manual five-speed gearbox, 19” lightweight forged aluminium wheels and Yokohama high-performance tyres.

Mitsubishi has not said anything about the price or the fact that the same engine will power this car all across the world. Whatever happens, will happen on or after January 9 once the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon kickstarts.
