MG ZS EV: Exterior
In March 2022, the automaker released the 2022 version of the ZS EV, India's first electric SUV. The updated front fascia, which consists of a closed grille and has the charging port on the left side of the MG symbol on the grille itself, was one of the improvements on the most recent model. A few further improvements included a redesigned bumper with chrome inserts spanning the width of it at the bottom, new 17-inch machined alloy wheels with an updated five-spoke design, and all-LED headlights with sharper daytime running LEDs.
MG ZS EV: Battery and Range
With this revamp, the MG ZS EV gained a bigger 50.3kWh lithium-ion battery, extending its maximum driving range to 461 kilometre (according to the WLTP cycle). Even the electric motor that drives it is brand-new and now boasts a maximum power output of 173bhp and a peak torque of 280Nm. The MG ZS EV is available in a single fully-loaded Exclusive variant for Rs 27.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Following the launch of the updated model, the manufacturer said that the 2022 iteration of the EV was sold out within a few days of its formal debut in India.
MG ZS EV: Interior Features
The interior of the MG ZS EV had also undergone substantial remodelling and matches that of the Astor. For the ZS EV, MG chose an all-black theme with contrast silver inlays. A longer list of features is available for the car. It includes all of these amenities, in addition to a wireless charger, 360-degree parking camera, heated exterior rearview mirrors, a 7-inch full-TFT instrument panel, powered front seats, and an automatic parking brake. Besides, the ZS EV's whole package is improved by extra features such as a panoramic sunroof, leather interior, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, push start-stop button, and PM 2.5 in-cabin air purifier.
