MG Motor India has launched the new top-spec Exclusive Pro variant of the ZS EV at Rs 27.89 lakh (ex-showroom), which will be applicable, according to the brand, for a limited time frame. A year ago, the automaker gave a generational update to the e-SUV in the form of a revised exterior, new interior features, and more. However, it didn't offer the much-anticipated Level-2 ADAS at that time. But now, MG answered the prayers of hardcore safety-preferring buyers by introducing a new version with Autonomous Level-2 ADAS features to the Indian market.

For starters, the standard model in India has an ex-showroom starting cost of Rs 23.38 lakh. Mechanically, the ZS EV comes equipped with a 50.3kWh battery mated to an electric motor, which kicks out 174bhp and 280Nm. According to MG, the battery fulfills both the UL2580 Safety Management System and the ASIL-D Enhanced Safety Integrity Level standard and has been developed to comply with IP69K for improved dust and water resistance.
