JSW MG Motor will launch the Windsor EV in India on September 11. However, before that, the carmaker is constantly posting teasers of the vehicle to build anticipation for its market release. In the most recent teaser, MG has shown the upcoming Windsor with a panoramic glass roof, which is reminiscent of the ones seen on higher-end EVs such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5. It is noteworthy that this feature is missing on the global-spec Wuling Cloud EV, on which the Windsor, is based. MG Windsor EV: Design and Features
The Windsor EV, a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV sold internationally, will likely sport a large front fascia with a full-width LED light bar, closed-off grille, huge air dam, and projector headlamps. It may also include flush door handles, integrated spoilers, and 18-inch alloys with 215/55-section tyres.
The EV's interior could feature a black and beige colour scheme, and a range of features like a 15.6-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and an 8.8-inch digital driver's display. It is confirmed to have a three-passenger rear seat with three-point seat belts and adjustable headrests.
For safety, the Windsor EV is expected to be equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), six airbags, an electronic parking brake, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features.
MG Windsor EV: Battery, Range
The global-spec model is available with two battery configurations: 37.9kWh and 50.6kWh. Both are powered by a 134bhp, front-axle-mounted electric motor. The smaller battery offers a range of 360 kilometres, while the larger battery claims a range of 460 kilometres. Currently, it is unclear which battery pack will be offered in India.

MG Windsor EV: Expected Price
The third electric car from MG in India is expected to start at Rs 20 lakh. At this pricing, the EV will undercut its sibling, the ZS EV, while also serving as a premium option to the Mahindra XUV400 EV and the Tata Nexon EV.
