MG Motor is all set to unveil its first car for India - the Hector. We spotted the Hector undisguised, and we must say, it looks good. As you see in the pictures here, the rear of the car has a wide stance and the width is further magnified courtesy of the connected taillights. The bootlid has some sharp cuts that adds to the overall appeal of the car. The Hector gets some of its butch stance thanks to the silver skid plates at the back.
Along the sides, the Hector gets squared off wheel arches and a nice set of five-spoke alloy wheels. The shoulder line is sharp, running right from the headlights along the back.
MG Motor gave us a glimpse of what we could expect from the Hector. It will be the first internet-connected car in India when it gets launched later this month. The iSmart setup it comes with an embedded eSim that will be provided by Airtel. The system is based on the Internet Protocol Version 6 which allows it to be 5G ready too. All of this will be aided by a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with voice recognition. MG has also joined hands with several technology partners including Tom Tom for maps, Gaana for music and AccuWeather for, well, weather.
